Die Walking Street in Pattaya ist Südostasiens berühmteste Nachtleben-Meile.
Walking Street officially becomes pedestrian-only around 6 PM, but most bars and clubs don't get busy until 9-10 PM. Peak hours are 11 PM to 2 AM. The street stays active until about 3-4 AM on weekends.
For a casual night out, budget 2,000-3,000 THB. This covers entry to a couple of GoGo bars (no cover usually), 5-6 drinks, and street food. If you plan on buying lady drinks or visiting premium clubs, bring 5,000-8,000 THB.
Walking Street is generally very safe. There's heavy police presence and CCTV coverage. Common sense applies: don't flash large amounts of cash, watch your drink, and always agree on prices before any service. Stick to well-known venues to avoid scams.
